Charlie Easton comes from a family of fine British Painters, and is represented by Galleries across North America and Europe.
He moved to Vancouver, Canada, in 2006 and immediately fell in love with the same scenery that inspired many of the Group of Seven artists. Getting outside to paint is a priority for Charlie, as he tries to capture light, colour and movement in all of his pieces. A prolific painter of landscapes and seascapes in both oils and acrylics, Charlie paints both from his studio in Vancouver and on location around the world.
He is on the board of the Federation of Canadian Artists and has studied at the Slade School of Fine Art, at Emily Carr University, and at many workshops worldwide.
“In my work I invite the viewer to come hiking with me, to ski by my side, and to see the same striking views that enthrall me so much. I paint in a style which mirrors my life motto. Minimum fuss, maximum enjoyment.”
